A Different Approach
The new Bitcast X Subnet mechanism measures and rewards real influence - not vanity metrics like follower counts or post volume, but earned credibility.
It works by mapping social networks within a specific niche and identifying which voices are genuinely respected. Accounts gain an influence score based on the endorsements they receive from other influential accounts. Endorsements include quotes, retweets, and mentions. The more endorsements an account receives from high-credibility peers, the higher its influence score.
Our first mapped social niche is the Bittensor ecosystem itself - the builders, researchers, and thought leaders guiding the future of decentralized AI.

Influence on X has been corrupted by bots, paid engagement, and empty metrics. The Bitcast X Subnet fixes that by anchoring incentives to exploit-resistant, human-driven signals.

1. Influence Score - Real Credibility
A PageRank-style model uses endorsements as trust signals. Quotes and retweets from influential accounts matter far more than likes or replies.

Only the top 150 accounts in the Bittensor conversation qualify to mine. It’s a merit-based whitelist that evolves week by week - those who earn endorsements rise in, those who fade drop out.

4. Authentic Brand Briefs (first brief: 12/11/25)
When the first brief comes to a close, creators who successfully met it will share its reward pool proportionally based on their influence score + the influence scores of those that endorsed (RT/QRT) their tweet. The more influence you can command, the greater your share.
